Firefighter calendar 2009 - Square to Square Charity Cycle Calender 2009

A double-sided firefighter calendar is being planned for 2009; available for purchase in the Autumn of 2008.

The calendar will be double sided - i.e. two 2009 calendars back to back - A3 size.

One side will feature the Square to Square Charity Cycle Challenge 2008 Cyclists at various Isle of Wight locations and landmarks around the island.

The other side of the firefighter calendar will feature the team completing the Square to Square Charity Cycle Challenge 2008, which will see each cyclist cycling 1,400 miles over 14 days through France over the Alps and onto Rome, Italy from the Isle of Wight, England.

Funds raised from the sale of the calendar, including advertising etc., will be donated equally between the Wessex Cancer Trust (for the diagnosis, treatment and care of Isle of Wight cancer patients and their families), a benevolent fund for local and retired firefighters on the Isle of Wight, Earl Mountbatten Hospice and the Everyman Campaign.

The calendar will be available to purchase in the late Autumn 2008 once sufficient advertisers and sponsors are found for the calendar to be printed - more details will be posted on this website of how to obtain a copy.
