Firefighter calendar 2009 from the Square to Square Charity Cycle Calender announced

N.B. Please note that the SQ2SQ Firefighter Calendar 2009 has been postponed and will not be produced for 2009.

The Square to Square Charity Cycle Team 2008 are pleased to announced details of a double-sided firefighter calendar is being planned for 2009; available for purchase in the Autumn of 2008.

The calendar will be double sided - i.e. two 2009 calendars back to back - A3 size.

image: Fire Services National Benevolent Fund logoOne side will feature the Square to Square Charity Cycle Challenge 2008 Cyclists at various Isle of Wight locations and landmarks around the island.

The other side of the firefighter calendar will feature the team completing the Square to Square Charity Cycle Challenge 2008, which will see each cyclist cycling 1,400 miles over 14 days through France over the Alps and onto Rome, Italy from the Isle of Wight, England.

Funds raised from the sale of the calendar, including advertising etc., will be donated equally between the Wessex Cancer Trust (for the diagnosis, treatment and care of Isle of Wight cancer patients and their families) and the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund.

The calendar will be available to purchase in the late Autumn 2008 - more details will be posted on this website of how to obtain a copy nearer to the publication date.

Locals businesses, organisations, groups and individuals will be able to advertise in the calendar.

There is also the opportunity for individuals, local and national business, organisations, groups and charities to purchase dates in the calendar to make announcements for events, anniversaries, marriages, birthdays and other events.
