Day 11 saw the sq2sq 2008 Team head south towards Rome.
Temperatures continued to rise as the Team made their way, whils they also started their gradual climb into the Appenines mountain region of central Italy.
Day 11 saw the Team completed 98 miles head south towards Rome and started their first day of three in the Appenines mountain region, in temperatures f 38C (100F) in the shade.
Day 12 will see the Team complete a second day in the Appenines mountains with a scheduled mileage of 90 miles.
The current total mileage completed to date since the 30th August is 1,248.5 miles.
