Day seven saw the SQ2SQ 2008 Team cycle 117 miles with 7 hours 12 in the saddle.
On setting off in the morning they had a mountain to climb to Montgenevre:
Day 7 completed - one week of the SQ2SQ 2008 challenge complete - 116 miles cycled. The Team went into Italy following a climb to over 6,000 feet over another mountain in the Alps once more then onto the French/Italian border.
The weather was very warm, dry and sunny; higher temperatures are expected as the Team move across northern Italy: the northern plains will see temperatures of around 30-35 C in the shade
Total mileage now 864.5 miles since 30 Aug.
