SQ2SQ 2008: actual mileage 108 miles
Day 8 saw the Team cycle 108 miles across the northern plains of Italy in rising temperatures and they decended from the Alps region.
Day 8 completed - 108 miles, 6 hours 50 mins in the saddle, across the plains of northern Italy in temperatures of 30C in the shade.
The Team made good progress and are set for another day of the same for Day 9, before the final stage on Day 10 when they go to Ostellato; being met for this stage by members of the Italian Fire Service for the journey into the town followed by a civic reception from the town mayor.
Following the arrival in Ostellato the Team will then head to for the final four days of cycling to Rome.
