I would describe myself as: An organised but fun loving adrenaline junkie.

Who inspires me:
- Lance Armstrong (long before this ride came along), anyone who lives with a terminal or serious illness whether that is the sufferer or the carers around them (they're all inspirational!), the rest of the team because they've got to be just a crazy as me!!

My philosophy: Live Strong (stolen from Mr Armstrong), 'When you look back on life will you regret not doing that?' (Definately worked in this case!!!)

On the Challenge
On the Challenge: I’ll be a good motor for the guys to pull at the front for a bit.
I have a good awareness of sports injuries to give advise on cycle related pains and aches.
I’ll also be the one that does something stupid and will then get picked on for the rest of the trip!

Body Composition
Body Composition
Each cyclist is having his body composition analysed during the lead up and during the challenge.
The body composition monitoring is measuring the cyclist's weight, body fat percentage, water percentage, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone mass, basal metabolic rate, and metabolic age.

Training
All of the cyclists are undertaking an intense period of training leading up to the challenge in September 2008.
Each individual cyclist is starting his training from varying level of fitness, with the aim of achieving a satisfactory level of fitness prior to the challenge in order to be able to complete the 1,400 miles in 14 days.
